Today I've been on my own (with Woo's) for the lon Today I've been on my own (with Woo's) for the longest time since the pandemic started. Biggest one off to university, hubby in the office and the other two in college and school. A bit strange, but quite nice to potter, exercise, paint and walk. Started this on Tuesday as a half hour painting, but had to go do something else before I finished and when I went back to it today faffed around with it a bit more, so it's taken about an hour really. Still, quite like it though 💙
Lovely sunny morning so popped out for a quick, or Lovely sunny morning so popped out for a quick, or rather slow, run in the park before breakfast outside with a certain fluffy being watching me carefully. Headed back to the park for a doggie walk in the afternoon helped by an ice cream in The Pheasantry and a G&T at home to finish the weekend off.
Well that was the the weekend then and as the hubb Well that was the the weekend then and as the hubby was away playing hockey in Nice, it was just us girls having fun and enjoying the last weekend before No. 1 heads off to Uni! 1. Tea and buns to start the day 🍰 2. Getting very comfy in Screen 15 and about to watch Shang Chi (which was brilliant btw!) 3, 4 & 5 Dinner at Bar Estillo in Teddington ... always a favourite.

This was my Dad's typewriter and just turning it on and listening to it's gentle hum reminds me of him and when I was learning how to touch type at school (on a manual typewriter) this is what I practised on at home. Those were the days!!

Final part of No. 2's 16th birthday pressie took u Final part of No. 2's 16th birthday pressie took us to Hamilton last night. So much energy - from the performance and the audience (a completely full theatre). An amazing time and still feel on a high today 🎵
