Had a fun and productive day photographing some ne Had a fun and productive day photographing some new things for the shop including gin bottle postcards - the bottles were being used as props. I don't usually have them sitting on my desk ready for a quick swig 😉
Got out for a little run this morning. The park w Got out for a little run this morning. The park was beautiful and as usual the best part of the run is the scenery and finishing - totally love that bit!

Didn't achieve anything on my work to do list though as (much to the horror of Indie), I decided it was doggy haircut day. She was looking more like Scruffy McScruffhead by the day so I couldn't put if off any longer.

So with much scissor action and brushing, she's looking much tidier. Might give her a bath tomorrow!

Haven't gone very far today, but spent most of it Haven't gone very far today, but spent most of it outside ...

Warm enough to read outside this morning with both animals keeping me company, although they were in the shade under the table, blissfully unaware of each other!

Mapped out where we want to put some raised beds and a new shed/greenhouse using high tech gadgets including a measuring tape and some sticks 🙂

Finished the afternoon with some plant maintenance and repotting 🌿

Some rhubarb gin, roast dinner and just finished watching Line of Duty. No spoilers, but can't bloody wait till next week!
What a lovely day we had yesterday. It felt almost What a lovely day we had yesterday. It felt almost normal ...

Morning blue sky view 🌞

Dropped our biggest one at hockey then headed into Surbiton for a walk and a coffee where I spotted Monsieur Foxy. Actually don't think I've ever been to Surbiton High Street so it was nice to have a wander - quite a few little independent shops and cafes to choose from. Back to watch the last bit of the hockey match and catch up with some friends on the sidelines while Woo's had fun barking at the husband who was on the other side of the fence coaching the last 10 minutes.

Heading back home along the river just before we turned into Hampton Hill High Street. It's so lovely to see everything open again and happy people everywhere enjoying the weather, shops, cafes and pub gardens ... just as we did for a little date drinkies at Shambles in Teddington before walking back home for dinner.
We made it to Kingston today to go shopping 😯 We made it to Kingston today to go shopping 😯

Just about remembered how to behave in public! We all managed to find a little something to buy and as the queues were not that bad it was really fun to get out.

Photo: Watercolour and pen drawing of my new plant purchased at Petersham Nurseries. It's a Ginseng Bonsai, which reminds me of my best friend at school who called me Bonsai Bucky as I'm quite small. I called her Silver Birch as she's quite tall. Happy Days!
Just time for a quick read before I start cooking Just time for a quick read before I start cooking dinner. Everyone's upstairs doing various things so it's lovely and peaceful down here.

Suspect it won't last long!
I've been staring at my screen for most of this af I've been staring at my screen for most of this afternoon updating the the shop a bit, so felt the need to paint a few colourful flowers to finish the afternoon off, as you do!

Hope your hump day has been fun. We did pop out for lunch today. Sitting outside in the sun, eating chips and listening to other peeps chatting was lovely!

Off to cook some dinner and try some chocolate beer, which we've been given. Sounds disgusting, but gotta give it a go!
Back at my desk today catching up with some admin Back at my desk today catching up with some admin and web updates having decided to take a week off of Instagram and enjoy the school holidays instead.

I always find it feels a more inspiring and fun place to be after I've had a little rest from scrolling and posting for a few days!

Still got this week left of the holidays to enjoy, but looking forward to getting some work done too 🙂
Wandered to Petersham Nurseries yesterday for cake Wandered to Petersham Nurseries yesterday for cake, coffee and a look around.

Lots of inspiration, but only came home with a Ginseng Ficus Bonsai and a cactus vase, which is pretty good as it's on the pricey side there. Love it all though.

All quite tired by the time we got home including the dog who didn't move all evening 🐾 💤
Easter Bunny Funday ... Finally the Easter egg st Easter Bunny Funday ...

Finally the Easter egg stash can be opened 😋

Just to prove we didn't just have chocolate for breakfast 😉

Egg hunt clues were carefully written. There were anagrams this year and a 'How well do you know your children' quiz for us! Think we all felt we earned our eggs as our brains were actually exercised! There was much fun though and it kept us busy for most of the afternoon.

The traditional 'let's see how tall we can stack the Easter eggs' challenge.

Popped out for a quick Woo's walk.

Admired the sunset on a beautiful day, then ordered pizza from Piazza Firenze in Hampton Hill and settled in for some telly - Line of Duty of course.

Looking forward to another lie in tomorrow and then we'll see what the day brings 🙂

Well hello April! Good Friday has been pretty ch Well hello April!

Good Friday has been pretty chilled. Went for a walk in Home Park this morning.

Indie forgot herself slightly as we were walking beside a little pond type thing .. we just heard a kersplooosh behind us. Turned round to see a duck flying off and Indiefluffball looking a bit confused, up to her shoulders in the water. Very amusing considering she's too scared to jump in the water usually. Must've looked like a very tasty duck!

Found a bit of time this afternoon to paint 'April'. This month's challenge is more of a thing to do. For a couple of years we've been saying we'll redesign the garden. Well this is the month that me and No. 2 daughter are starting. We won't get it finished, but planning, designing, costing and making a start will happen. I just don't want another Summer to go by without doing anything. Not getting any younger after all 😉
Having the girlies break up on a Wednesday has thr Having the girlies break up on a Wednesday has thrown us a bit and we've all been thinking today is Saturday 🤔

But we've had a good day looking at college courses, making plans and drinking lots of tea.

Just finished another birthday card. These are created individually and are hand drawn in pen. They are not on the website yet, but will be soon. In the meantime, you can dm me with the letter required.
