Painted using watercolour and Indian ink to capture ‘the Beauty in Decay’ of a leaf as it began to breakdown. It was completely dry with it’s skeleton just beginning to show and some lovely subdued autumn colours.
This is actually one of my favourite paintings and I have the original in a vintage gold frame above my desk.
